Description
New screw air compressor .
Select Your Rotary Screw Air Compressor
Lubricated rotary screw air compressors are used every day across the world in a wide variety of applications, from the small 2 kW model you may find in a garage or workshop, up to large 250 kW models where multiple machines used together can power a whole factory production line. Critical tasks like air tools, packaging, welding along with many other factory processes rely on compressed air & these models can generate the onsite air you need, on demand, when & where it’s needed, each installation is sized according to your production needs.
You can read more about the technology used in these compressors here, or the different applications they serve here.

Why choose a rotary screw compressor?
One of the main benefits of choosing a screw compressor is that, in comparison with piston compressors, there are no valves or other mechanical forces that can cause the compressor to become unbalanced. This allows a screw compressor to provide quality air at high operational speeds with a larger flow rate, without compromising on compact design!
Aside from premium energy efficiency, some other reasons to choose a screw compressor include:
- Reduced Maintenance – as there are no pistons, rings, rods or other parts that require regular servicing, the screw compressor is a very low maintenance option.
- Low Noise and Low Vibration – this is due to the reduction of moving parts and its small size compared to other compressor technologies.
- No Duty Cycle – can provide continuous air supply with no ill effect to the compressor.
Compression capabilities
rotary screw range operates between 4kw to 250 kW (5 to 335hp), producing working pressure at 5 bar to 13 bar (72 to 188psi).
Fixed versus variable speed drives
Our range of injected screw compressors are available with fixed or variable speed drives. The benefits of both depend on the unique demand of your business. Fixed speed compressors run continuously, regardless of demand and are very efficient when operating at 100% capacity. Variable speed compressors are able to increase or decrease the output according to demand, only using the required energy to provide the appropriate flow to produce compressed air.
When choosing a rotary air compressor you should always consider your operation demand. A variable speed drive can offer amazing energy efficiencies which translate into cost savings, however, if your application has a constant demand, a fixed speed compressor may offer you better results.
Applications and uses
Screw compressors are often used to supply vast amounts of compressed air to large industrial applications. The advanced technology allows the compressor to run continuously, providing a large output of high-quality air flow, perfect for demanding applications.
